Use the Waxwing Workflow Builder to design powerful Human + AI processes that automatically generate custom, column-based workflows. This feature helps streamline complex tasks by outlining steps that connect various tools like AI agents (LLM, Web Search, Image Generation), data inputs (files/URLs), and points for human review.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

1. Navigate to Copilot/Builder: Go to the 'Copilot' section of Waxwing. Ensure you are in workflow generation tab.

2. Describe Your Goal: In the main input field "Type your goal or task...", clearly state the overall task you want a workflow for. Be descriptive.

Example: "Help me create a 30-day social media calendar for LinkedIn for my company."

3. Generate the Workflow: Submit your request. Waxwing's AI will analyze your goal and automatically generate a suggested workflow displayed in a column-based table.

4. Review the Generated Steps: Examine the columns presented. You'll typically see details like:

  • Column Name: The name of each step.

  • Instructions: What happens in that step, edit the instructions according to your requirement.

  • Context: Base the output of one column using the context of previous columns, use company insights, or select a particular insight from Centralized Knowledge Base

  • Execution Agent: Which tool performs the step (e.g., Waxwing LLM, Waxwingweb scraper, Waxwing URL scraper or indicating user input/review needed).

  • Other details like cell type, Format, multiple output Quantity, and if User Review is required.

5. Edit the Workflow (Optional):

  • Make sure "Focus Mode" is turned off to enable editing.

  • Add, delete, or reorder steps as needed

6. Import / Export Workflow (Optional): Look for an option like 'Import from CSV' which help you upload a pre-formatted CSV file to define a workflow structure. 'Export as CSV' helps you save the current workflow structure as a CSV file for backup or sharing.

7. Run the Workflow (Next Step): Once you are satisfied with the generated (and potentially edited) workflow, you can proceed to run the workflow in the Focus Mode
